QA ANALYST Tester

Able to analyze and understand business requirements and create comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts, to identify any data-related defects.
Is very well organized, focused, detail-oriented, and thorough in the testing execution to validate reports or system/software functionality for data integrity, completeness, and accuracy.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills to be able to create clear and thorough test cases for others to execute.
Can coordinate User Acceptance Testing cycles.
Can work closely and collaboratively with report/software/system users and developers to triage and investigate issues found during testing by applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Can document clear test results and test metrics for reporting to project team members and leaders.
Has experience writing complex SQL queries to extract data for analyzing and testing data correctness and accuracy.
Has experience comparing data in multiple tables, datasets, and data sources.
Has prior experience testing business intelligence reports such as Tableau, Power BI, or other similar reporting platforms.
Has 3+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL.
Is very proficient in using Excel for data testing - creating formulas, pivot tables, etc.
Has a bachelor’s degree in an IT, science, or engineering discipline and 3 or more years of experience in quality assurance practices.
