Our ideal candidate will Document all development activity Assist with training application and infrastructure teams not familiar with Splunk Have in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in their own discipline Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience This position will work closely with Infrastructure, Application, and Business Intelligence teams getting started with Splunk Responsibilities include Grow and improve the enterprise Splunk environment from early stages to a mature implementation Support large-scale deployments across multiple AWS regions, with data feeds from multiple on premise data centers Monitor and maintain Splunk performance, availability, and capacity Splunk administration; including version upgrades, permissions, and audit compliance Develop reliable, efficient queries that will feed custom alerts and dashboards Track work effectively via Agile methods Create and maintain documentation related to architecture and operational processes for Splunk Define processes for engagement and RACI models Engage application and infrastructure teams to establish best practices for utilizing Splunk data and visualizations Mentor members of the technical staff to support and assist in Splunk-related activities Maintain regulatory awareness and compliance
