o 5+ years of dedicated experience as a Microsoft Power BI developer
o Experience modeling complex PowerBI datasets including using DAX expressions to create calculated tables, calculated columns, and measures, as well as the ability to write and format complex DAX formulas to model objects, constants, and variables.
o Expert T-SQL knowledge with experience creating relational, dimensional and tabular data models and extracting data from enterprise data warehouse environments.
o Experience writing PowerQuery to access data in non-SQL sources (Sharepoint, API’s etc.)
o Have an understanding of Partitioning, and expressions used for partitioning tabular models
o Experience with Power BI deployment pipelines and Power BI platform administration
o Experience using GIT or other source control systems to manage PowerBI models
o Experience working with Visual Studio or Third Party tools to model PowerBI datasets, create calculation groups, deploy models, performance tune DAX, etc.
o Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be able to communicate well with non-technical business, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational skills are required
o Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, or similar field
