Project Management: Utilize the State of Michigan’s Project Portfolio Management Tool (Clarity) to prepare project schedules, assign resources, and manage budgets effectively.
Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and deliver presentations for a variety of audiences, including executives, managers, and project team members. Ensure clear, timely, and accurate communication with stakeholders regarding project progress and status.
Project Monitoring: Actively monitor, control, and communicate project progress, ensuring that cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks are managed effectively.
Leadership: Provide leadership and foster collaborative participation between technical and business teams, ensuring consensus and commitment to project goals.
Project Lifecycle Management: Develop and maintain key project deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, including Project Charter, Schedule, Budget, Communication Plan, Status Reports, Risk and Issue Management Plans, Change Requests, and Project Closeout Summary.
Change Management: Facilitate and enforce the Change Management process, ensuring all change requests are approved before implementation.
Corrective Action: Create and manage Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) for projects in yellow or red status, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
Vendor Management: Review and manage vendor contracts, ensuring adherence to deliverables and the vendor deliverable approval process.
Stakeholder Interaction: Facilitate interactions among stakeholders by clarifying expectations and ensuring deliverables are assigned, reviewed, and completed on time.
Compliance: Ensure the project adheres to the SUITE Project Management Methodology (PMM) and System Engineering Methodology (SEM), including appropriate and timely transitions through project stages and phases.
