Responsibilities:
Perform system installations and modifications on mainframe platforms.
Create test structures, gather and analyze data to ensure application quality.
Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues.
Provide support for project requirements throughout the ADLC.
Implement plans such as disaster recovery and interface layout for mainframe applications.
Troubleshoot issues and maintain existing mainframe applications.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain mainframe-based applications using COBOL, DB2, CICS, and JCL.
Integrate mainframe applications with other systems and interact with infrastructure components.
Effectively communicate with business stakeholders to understand requirements.
Develop controls that meet specified requirements.
Adapt to customer release processes and ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate effectively with both offshore and USAA stakeholders.
