- Plan and manage data center projects from initiation to completion.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and other external parties to procure necessary equipment and services.
- Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in data center infrastructure projects.
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in data center operations, facilities management, or IT infrastructure.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking capabilities.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field.
