• Technical and configuration work to ensure Splunk Universal forwarder is installed and running 
• Check if the host has been correctly whitelisted to receive configuration from Splunk Deployment Server
• Check the endpoint configuration to send the collected logs by Splunk UF is set 
• Check the SSL certificates used by Splunk UF is valid and has enough permissions 
• Check if the connectivity of Splunk UF with Splunk deployment server and Splunk indexer cluster is working as expected 
• JIRA Experience is required
• Monitoring Application health  
• Management of production and non-Production environment operations
• Participate with Verizon vendor during product version upgrade and major releases.
• Create technical documentation

Technical Experience : 

• 4 years of experience in Splunk 
• 4 years of application development and support 
• Proficient in Splunk query language SPL 
• Strong technical knowledge of Red hat Linux, Firewalls and Load Balancing principles
• AWS architect and sysops certified or equivalent Azure and/or GCP experience is also preferred 
• Professional Attributes :

• Able to independently handle and interact with the client in Agile meetings 
• Should have good analytical skills to work on the raw requirements to deliver design, build and SIT support
