Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and document system requirements related to retail and supply chain operations.
Conduct gap analyses to understand current system limitations and opportunities for improvement.
System Design & Implementation:
Develop detailed functional specifications and design documents based on gathered requirements.
Work with IT and development teams to implement system changes, enhancements, and integrations.
Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that new solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
Process Improvement:
Analyze and model business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
Propose and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Utilize data analysis tools to assess system performance and generate reports on key metrics.
Provide actionable insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Project Management:
Participate in project planning and management activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of system changes and updates.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
Proven experience (10+ years) as a Business System Analyst with a focus on retail and supply chain domains.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of retail operations, supply chain management, and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, CRM).
Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., UML, BPMN).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data and processes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is desirable.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
Knowledge of system integration and API technologies is a plus.
