Power BI Administration role:
o       Experienced with Power BI service administration, including user management, connection management, workspace management, gateway administration, and data sources.
o       Experienced in the new Gateway clusters and knowledge of creating Primary nodes and Clustered Nodes.
o       Experienced in building new Power BI On-premises data gateways from scratch, including setting up the default browser, patching the Windows server (if necessary), and ensuring compatibility with anti-virus software or McAfee Endpoint Defender etc.
o       Experienced in deploying Power BI services, configuring gateways, and managing data sources.
o       Experience with troubleshooting common installation or network issues, including proxies.
o       Experienced with configuring performance logging & Implementing optimization techniques to improve performance.
o       Experienced in Installing drivers and certificates, as well as setting up ODBC connections for various databases(similar to the existing cluster) for the following:
 o Oracle Client
 o Oracle ODAC
 o MySQL
 o PostgreSQL
 o ACL
 o SAP .Net Connector
 o SAP HANA ODBC Drivers
 o Installing certificates for Amazon RDB and other relevant systems.
o       Experienced in creating new connections in each new Gateway cluster.
o       Experienced with migrating or repointing existing connections for datasets, dataflows, and data marts from the existing “Single Cluster deployment” to “Multi Cluster deployment” in collaboration with business users.
o       Able to clean up user access from the old cluster after migration.
o       Able to create new repository/Excel documentation for connection management.
