Our client’s Environmental Technologies group is seeking a candidate who will support material qualification to its smarter chemistry goals, as part of the launch of its products.
You will be responsible for identifying materials for review and managing qualification workflows, while establishing best practice and standard operating procedures in support of the product development process.
Your work requires you to closely partner with Product Environmental Engineers/Program managers, Toxicologists and Subject Matter Experts to support initiatives on smarter chemistry, sustainable materials, design for environment, and phase-outs of hazardous substances. Education: AS/BS degree in Engineering or Science preferred Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in a hardware product development environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, while engaging with multiple activities simultaneously
Passion for environmental sustainability and user safety
Experience in documenting process and procedures
Proficient in productivity software (Spreadsheets, Keynotes)
Strong communication skills and thrives in both collaborative and independent work environments
Familiarity with Bills of Materials, and manufacturing documents a plus
