Work with partner teams for firewall install, upgrades, work in high touch unstable hardware/software environment Keeping track of all incoming and outgoing pre-production hardware from multiple partners from physically receiving shipments from dock, inspection for damages, final installation in the lab.
Ship out at EOL Firewall Updates and low level debug/triage Hardware support to SW teams for various scenarios
Ex: simulate surprise hot removal, hot plug, recovery, RMA, etc Lab infrastructure maintenance ? switches, racks etc, Infrastructure software, ensure compliance to safety and ESD guidelines.
Hands-on experience in implementing, administering and troubleshooting network devices: switches ( Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, HP, Dell )knowledge in LAN switch technology (Spanning tree, VLAN, VTP)knowledge in routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)Network Operations, Incident management, Change review and impact analysis for Network changes
Hands-on experience in OS and firmware upgrades for all network devices
