-3+ years within Data Architecture (expertise as a Data or Technical Architect)
-8+ years of Data Engineering experience
-Expertise within data lakes and ML models
-Experience with Azure design and development experience, including but not limited to: ADF, Databricks, Synapse
-Expertise working with Metadata/MDM
-Experience working with business leaders at various levels
-Ability to mentor junior data engineers and onshore/offshore team members
-Ability to define and design best practices and frameworks for data engineering
-Experience with back-end data design with respect in context of API environment where APIs will be used to query live data on a mobile application (this team owns the backend and the serving of content up, but not the mobile app itself)
-Strong technical knowledge in how Databricks connects to ADF
-Ability to write SQL queries and complex SQL joins
-Excellent written and oral communication (provide verbal and written status reports)
-Experience pulling data from various databases: (most data is within Azure Data lake, Hadoop, Teradata, Vertica, Oracle)
