JOB DETAIL

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow modules and applications, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and others.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts.

• Oversee platform upgrades, patching, and new feature deployment to ensure optimal performance and stability.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators.

• Ensure best practices and standards are followed for development and platform configuration.

• Identify areas for process improvements and automation opportunities.

• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure reliability and performance.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for ServiceNow-related projects, enhancements, and support.

• Prepare and maintain documentation related to system configurations, customizations, and workflows.

• Discuss with Product IT Leads

• Gather requirements (may be aided by another BA if available)

• Estimate the work

• Get the work done through offshore SN dev resources

• Ensure they build apps using best practices as a gatekeeper review their work before goes to QA/Prod

• Ensure reusability

• Ensure security/performance best practices are followed

• Adhere to the client guidelines

• Find opportunities to build core framework/reusable components

• Partner with SN vendor for upgrades and other enhancements

• Coordinate with internal IT stakeholders for maintenance/upgrades/rolloutQualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration.

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Lead or in a similar leadership role.

• Strong SN App Engine Lead.. (not developer/indiv contributor)

• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, or CSM.

• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, integrations, and data migration.

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
