- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of Android development experience with knowledge of API design, best practices, and UX guidelines.
- Proficiency in the following technologies:
- Kotlin and Java programming.
- Jetpack Compose.
- Android Studio, Gradle, Git.
- Multi-threading and working with REST-based JSON APIs.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Slack, GitHub Actions, and Gradle.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in both team environments and independently.
- Experience working in Agile environments (e.g., SCRUM).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with commercial software development.
- Experience in publishing native mobile apps.
- Knowledge of UI testing and continuous integration processes.
Additional Information:
- A MacBook running M1 or newer is required.
- Hybrid work setup: onsite 3 days a week in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
