JOB DETAIL

  • Automation Expertise: Proficient in automation tools and languages such as Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python, C#, and JavaScript.
  • BIM Quality Control: Experience in developing scripts to perform quality control on BIM models and drawings based on project requirements and BIM standards.
  • Design Automation: Ability to program automation for Civil, Structural, Architectural (CSA), and MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) disciplines.
  • Efficiency Improvement: Skilled in automating repetitive tasks to enhance project workflows.
  • Technical Understanding: Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical design intents to propose effective automation solutions.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work with internal engineers and project managers, as well as external teams, to support data center delivery.

Desirable Skills:

  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation of ideas.
  • Innovative Thinking: Ability to identify new software technologies and systems to enhance design capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Data Center BIM Program Manager to develop in-house applications and automation tools.
  • Create detailed proof of concept automations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop Dynamo and Python scripts for quality control and issue rectification during project phases.
  • Automate tasks related to design documentation and BIM models to improve efficiency.
  • Build applications, plugins, and scripts tailored for architectural and construction documents.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless data center delivery through automation.
  • Create specialized software programming for engineering needs, including databases and cloud-based solutions.
