1. SAP QM Implementation & Configuration:
   • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of the SAP Quality Management (QM) module.
   • Customize SAP QM processes including quality planning, quality inspection, quality control, and quality certificates.
   • Integrate SAP QM with other SAP modules such as Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and Plant Maintenance (PM).
2. Manufacturing Process Integration:
   • Work with manufacturing teams to integrate quality management processes with production activities.
   • Ensure that quality inspections and tests are conducted efficiently at various stages of the manufacturing process.
   • Support the implementation of in-process and final product quality control systems.
3. Quality Data Management & Reporting:
   • Develop and maintain quality inspection plans and master data.
   • Generate and monitor key quality metrics, including defect rates, rework statistics, and product quality trends.
   • Create and manage quality reports, including non-conformance reports, audit findings, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
4. Continuous Improvement:
   • Identify opportunities to optimize quality management processes within the SAP system.
   • Lead initiatives for process improvement, defect reduction, and efficiency gains in quality assurance.
   • Support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives by providing data and insights from SAP QM.
5. Testing and Validation:
   • Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting for all SAP QM-related configurations.
   • Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration and validation of quality processes.
   • Provide post-implementation support, including issue resolution and system enhancements.
6. Compliance and Audits:
   • Ensure that all quality management processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality policies.
   • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary SAP QM data and reports.
   • Ensure that corrective actions from audits are implemented and monitored.
7. Training and Documentation:
   • Provide training and support to end users on SAP QM functionalities, processes, and best practices.
   • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
8. Stakeholder Collaboration:
   • Work closely with production, supply chain, quality assurance, and IT teams to align SAP QM functionalities with business needs.
   • Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries and system support within the manufacturing unit.

• Experience:
  • 12+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Quality Management (QM) module in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in implementing and configuring SAP QM with a strong focus on integration with SAP PP, MM, and PM.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality control processes and quality assurance standards within a manufacturing setting.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of SAP QM functionality, including inspection plans, quality notifications, quality certificates, and test equipment management.
  • Experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
  • Understanding of integration between SAP QM and other SAP modules, particularly PP and MM.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, quality metrics tracking, and reporting within SAP QM.
  • Familiarity with batch management and serial number tracking within SAP.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certification in QM module.
• Experience with SAP Fiori or other SAP UI tools.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Experience in highly regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, automotive, or aerospace.
