Must have 10+ years DBA working experience with PostgreSQL 9.6+ version and good understanding of Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server.
Must be knowledgeable and experienced in managing PostgreSQL on multiple operating systems including Microsoft Windows, Linux (RHEL) and Kubernetes in OpenShift platform
 Experienced in setting up PostgreSQL clusters and supporting databases cluster in on-prem and hybrid cloud environment, and specifically in AWS RDS instance.
Strong skills in UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting
Experience in implementing Postgres STIG implementation, testing, and other vulnerability remediation.
Working Knowledge of connection poolers (pgPool and pgBouncer).
Install, monitor and maintain PostgreSQL software, implement monitoring and alerting.
Experience in building high-scalable clusters, failover and hot standby solutions based on Maximum available architecture
Experience in architecting, configuring, setting up Enterprise Fail over manager or similar technology for High availability solution.
Experience in leading efforts related to system and SQL performance tuning and assisting business process integration with various data sources.
Ability to work well with development and infrastructure teams in doing database design, changes and enhancement to new and existing applications
Proven ability to provide High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
Maintain operational documentation (e.g., procedures, task lists, architecture blueprints)
Strong Troubleshooting Skills
Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working with high demands and short deadlines that leads to working after hours.
Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills
