Strong proficiency in Scala and functional programming paradigms.
Experience with frameworks such as Akka, Play, or Spark.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools. 

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
