• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Develop and optimize data models, ensuring they meet the needs of analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and quality assurance.
• Monitor data systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new data technologies and tools.
• Document data architecture, processes, and workflows for transparency and compliance.
• Provide support for data-related inquiries and contribute to cross-functional projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or related fields.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica) and data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Prefect).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their data services.
• Understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
