JOB DETAIL

Gather and document requirements from business stakeholders

Communicate effectively between stakeholders and IT

Manage project tasks and timelines for Java application projects

Allocate resources efficiently

Coordinate with stakeholders and IT to deliver status updates to executives

Train stakeholders on the Agile/Scrum framework

Facilitate Scrum meetings and coordinate testing and release events

Work closely with Applications management to align project plans with business objectives

Track and report project status to management

Facilitate the implementation of Inter-Plan software releases with the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association

Job-Specific Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree

Minimum 3 years of experience leading and managing IT-related projects

5-7 years of experience in application systems using SDLC methodology

Knowledge of systems analysis and design, programming processes, and testing

Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Access, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint

Strong project leadership, interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills

Excellent group facilitation and teambuilding skills in technical and business troubleshooting

Preferred experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, MVS, DB2, and SDLC methodology

PMI Project Management Professional Certification is preferred
