This role includes creating custom themes and plugins. optimising website performance for speed and scalability and ensuring security best practices are implemented.
Work closely with designer’s frontend developers and project managers to translate client requirements into functional website.
Additionally provide technical leadership mentor junior developers and stay updated on the latest WordPress trends tools and technologies.
A Senior WordPress Engineer also manages integrations with third-party services and APIs ensures cross browser compatibility and resolves complex technical issues
Note This is not a web engineering role. Demonstrated competence with Wordpress development and the PHP programming language is the strong requirement for this role.
Familiarity with Javascript React HTML and CSS is required but this alone is not enough to meet these requirements for this role
