Monitor and maintain the stability of Adabas/Natural applications supporting services in the Cloud-based, distributed Linus server environment
Design and implement Adabas databases to ensure optimal performance and scalability
Participate with database support and provide timely resolution of database-related issues
Monitor database performance using tools like Adabas Manager
Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures using Adabas Backup and Recovery Tools
Optimize database performance through query optimization, indexing, and buffer pool management
Communicate effectively with business users and managers
Administering the Natural development environment
Security certificate configuration with Software AG products
Upgrades, Configuration, and Management Of Software AG Products on Linux
Performing database startup and shutdown
Performing and restoring database backups
Performing Adabas File Reorders
Using the Software AG Update Manager to apply updates/fixes
Using administration subsystems, including cron, to schedule system tasks
Strong relationship skills and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders and management
Demonstrated proficiency in business modeling, process modeling, and data modeling
Knowledge of methods and techniques of computer systems analysis, design, technical terminology, codes, and standard abbreviations
