- Install, configure, and maintain mainframe hardware, software, and systems.
- Monitor mainframe systems for performance and reliability, proactively identifying and addressing issues.
- Perform system tuning, optimization, and capacity planning to ensure high system performance.
- Manage job scheduling, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Ensure security compliance by implementing and managing system-level security configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and troubleshooting guides.
- Coordinate with application development, operations, and support teams to facilitate smooth operations and system integrations.
- Conduct regular system updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Provide on-call support for critical system issues outside of regular business hours.
