JOB DETAIL

Discovery:  Learn the content and business purpose of the WSMS project.  This will require the training team to work with the La-Z-Boy (LZB) team to fully understand the functionality and purpose of the system (how used within LZB).

Perform Training Assessment: The training team will work with the La-Z-Boy project business subject matter expert to determine the training needs for the system.  This will include identifying the different audience types of the system, number of system users requiring training, their unique training needs and what each audience needs to be trained on.  Provide recommendations on best approach to training for each audience, i.e. training format.

Perform Workflow Assessment: The training team will work with La-Z-Boy business subject matter expert(s) to identify changes to current workflow that will be a result of the implementation of the new system.  The team will produce a report detailing the changes, and make recommendations to mitigate the risks associated with the workflow changes (training to be modeled on the system and work process itself)

Curriculum Design: A complete curriculum, including target audiences, training format and recommended execution strategy, and materials lists will be developed to address both the workflow changes as well as the system implementation. 

Training Execution:  Training Materials/Quick Reference Guide – The team will develop and deliver all training materials including training manuals, quick reference guides, presentations and any other materials, classes, etc. identified as part of the training assessment and recommendations.
