• Knowledge on DFSMS (DFSMShsm / DFSMSdss), Flashcopy, ICF Catalogs, HCD

• Performance tuning & Development of operational procedures

• Experience with system indicators (logs, dumps, error) logs for pro-active management of system problems

• Hardware knowledge on large-scale hardware vendors (IBM, Brocade, Cisco)

• Experience in managing IBM (DS8000) storage including replication monitoring

• Experience with IBM Virtual Tape Management Systems (VTS) including replication monitoring

• Experience/knowledge of parallel sysplex (GDPS), catalog management, IBM system utilities

• Administer 3rd-party storage systems software

• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software product suite

• On-call rotation / weekend work required
