JOB DETAIL

Responsibilities include implementation of new patches and configuration updates to the vendor product as new updates come in or when required by the Control Center. 

With minimal guidance, candidate must be able to effectively maintain and update mission critical core and in-house applications in addition to performing programming/debugging activities related to new system development. 

The candidate must be able to document step-by-step deployment process. 

The candidate should have a minimum of 4 to 7 years' experience with responsibilities in the analysis, design, programming and implementation of information systems including vendor product in a corporate environment. 

Candidates must be able to learn quickly, assimilate new concepts, and think analytically. Support, troubleshoot, monitor and optimize vendor product and in-house applications. 

Responsible for migrating code changes from Development, Test and Production environments. 

Develop and support in-house applications that support and interact with vendor product. 

Maintain detailed documentation of issues and the changes that are implemented to resolve them. 

Provide 24x7 on call support on a rotating basis. 

Open Service Requests and work with other support group to evaluate and impact, test and perform post pre and post update validation for Oracle DB and Linux patches. 

Work closely with other technical groups to manage and address any issues with physical servers, permissions, cluster issues and BizTalk (integration services) for Middleware orchestrations. 

Implement and adhere to Client Cyber Security policies and procedures. 

Ensures Company safety, health and environmental. 

Ensures that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations. 

Excellent communication skills are required, as the candidate will routinely interact with various business groups both within and outside of IT. Driver's license required.
