• Establish and lead Product Launch Team comprising of Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Supplier and Product Quality groups to ensure alignment towards target launch dates and to ensure that project deliverables are achieved on time
• Lead supplier meetings, follow-up on action items, generate and distribute meeting minutes to all relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment
• Anticipate, identify, report and highlight any potential risks, issues and challenges to the project stakeholders
• Set clear priorities to the Product Launch Team & ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project & departmental metrics
• Maintain accurate product pipeline database detailing anticipated launch dates
• Conduct post launch project review sessions to identify key lessons learned and improvement opportunities for the launch of future products
• Build/maintain effective working relationships with business stakeholders to ensure successful roll out of new products
• Product lifecycle – Maintaining the product lifecycle status, including communicating status to internal stakeholders including Government pricing, finance, analytics, Business Development
• Assist in monitoring of performance standards and related activities of contract manufacturers
• Responsible for the development, tracking and execution of detailed launch plans for all new product launches; from submission to launch
• Product launch responsibilities will focus on all tasks and requirements for the global market related to the Project Managers portfolio if applicable
• Provide expertise, direction and support to the key stakeholders throughout the launch process
• Collaborate with counterparts in Sales & Marketing, R&D and Operations, throughout the new product launch process to achieve on time in full successful launches
• Project Manager has the ability to influence the strategy and direction and engage across multiple stakeholders at all levels
• Demonstrate highly developed project management skills by utilizing tools, systems, methodologies & software to lead, plan, manage & execute all global launches
• Serve in a senior role as the leader/primary contact for cross-functional teams to develop global launch plans at SKU level from Submission to Launch for all markets in assigned portfolio
• Recommend highly complex/sensitive go/no go decisions based on risk
• Communicate launch plans & priorities to functional departments on a monthly basis and as changes occur
• Track project progress & report exceptions to all relevant areas, including changes, issues & decisions
• Effectively utilize designated systems/applications to support launch success & for communication purposes
• Ensure personal adherence with all compliance programs including the Global Business Ethics & Compliance Program, Global Quality policies and procedures, Safety & Environment policies, and HR policies
