JOB DETAIL

  1. Experience working on an application development team within a complex organization to collect, document, and disseminate business requirements utilizing industry standard techniques.
  2. Experience working on Agile and Waterfall development teams
  3. Strong facilitation skills of small to large groups, including knowing when and how to regain group focus and use of the ‘parking lot’
  4. Ability to adjust presentation and facilitation approach suitable for executives and workers
  5. Ability to “tell the story” Using verbal and visual approaches
  6. Holistic knowledge of the overall requirements process, business and technical
  7. Prior use of requirements tools and experience/demonstrated knowledge of how they may interact with applications used for management of bugs, issues, testing, design and development
  8. Ability to quickly understand business drivers, model existing processes and facilitate and guide business constituents to developing future state requirements, rather than solutions
  9. Adaptability and flexibility when working with multiple clients with varying degrees of knowledge and ability/availability to participate. In other words, ability to be creative in helping clients provide the requirements and detail needed
  10. Experience in a large scale, multiple constituent organization to understand and anticipate change management, training, support, and overall operational handoffs needed
  11. Familiarity with the BABOK, or certifications offered through the International Institute of Business Analysis is preferred
  12. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs
  13. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies
  14. Experienced with business process reengineering
  15. Experience with business process mapping and workflow diagrams
  16. Collaborates to prepares solution options identify risk
  17. Evaluate software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements.
  18. Evaluate program output and reports for accuracy and policies and procedures for quality.
  19. Review new or modified application/functionality, including documentation and specifications, to determine if final solution(s) will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines.
  20. Recommend improvements or corrections to development team.
