JOB DETAIL

 

• Assists in defining user stories and the acceptance criteria therein
• Mandatory: WMOS Functional QA Experience and automation exp.
• Authors, audits and is responsible for test specifications for products, features and components
• Assists in development of test plans for complex systems
• Recognized expert in test automation through the engineering team
• Writes unit, component and integration tests
• Writes code that meets or exceeds all coding standards
• Aids in selection of test writing tools and techniques
• Responsible for identifying opportunities to increase testing effectiveness through automation of component, integration or complex system tests
• Helps to select and evaluate automated testing tools and methodologies
• Designs and builds tools to assist in curating complex data sets necessary for repeatable tests of integrated systems
• Validates test results for complex systems and interactions
• Adapts test suites to exercise code against new defects found
• Performs code reviews
• Aids in developing and enforcing coding and code review standards
• Tracks time for assigned stories and overhead
• Provides estimates for story testing work
• Consults management on the costs and benefits of automated testing and tools
• Interacts with business users, functional peer groups and managers
• Communicates technical issues clearly and concisely
• Leads discussions on user stories and the technical challenges inherent in solving them
• Accountable for testing of all stories as well as component, integration and regression testing of components, features and complex services
• Accountable for domain dependencies and critical paths
• Anticipates risks and provides contingency solutions and timelines
• Defines useful metrics and targets for domains
• Measurably improves processes to achieve desired results
