At least 6 years’ experience in AIX, Linux RHEL
- Knowledge of other Technologies like Wintel, VMware Unix Technology and Sorage basis technical knowledge is desirable
- Experience with AIX Linux performance tuning and capacity planning
- Requires 24x7 on call support on a rotating basis
- Experience with AIXRHEL performance tuning and capacity planning
- Experience with high availability architectures and concepts
- Address incident and problem tickets on a direct or indirect basis
- Participate in project planning
- Perform IBM AIX, and Linux RHEL Server system administration, including installation, operational support for servers and customization
- Must have knowledge of the latest IBM architectures P6P7
- Proficiency in all aspects of LPAR Logical Partition generation and reconfiguration
