The Senior Tableau Support Specialist works both independently and in collaboration with a cross-functional team to effectively monitor, manage, and support reporting and analytics technology, data infrastructure, and the design and development of underlying analytics use cases. This individual evaluates short-term business needs required to support key business goals and priorities, ensuring that reporting and analytics solutions are built and deployed in an effective and efficient manner. Under the guidance of the team’s management and in cooperation with peers in infrastructure, the Senior Tableau Support Specialist will coordinate the effective management of the Tableau Server environment for high-performance analytics to enhance business results and decision-making. The role has primary responsibility for Tableau user technical training and support, advising project teams and analytics professionals on Tableau best practices for workbook and data source design. The Senior Tableau Support Specialist will be at the forefront of recommending how to best optimize Tableau usage across KeyBank, fostering adoption of best practices, and identifying performance enhancements. Additionally, this role involves analyzing Tableau Server performance using the Postgres repository, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring efficient resource utilization. The Specialist must have a passion for supporting user adoption and building an engaged analytics community while collaborating to advance the organizations strategic analytics vision.
