JOB DETAIL

• Design & Development:
o Lead the architecture, design and development of scalable and efficient solutions for managing the lifecycle of digital assets (product images, videos, CAD, etc.) from creation through distribution.
o Provide guidance on API architecture, design decisions, and implementation strategies. Design, Develop and maintain APIs that enable the integration of assets into multiple consumption platforms with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Digital Asset Management:
o Lead the architecture and maintenance of a robust Digital Asset Management system to store, organize and tag assets efficiently.
o Ensure the DAM system is optimized for easy search, retrieval, and version control of assets, with a focus on scalability and performance.
o Work closely with other technical teams to integrate DAM system with other internal tools and platforms, such as content management systems, ecommerce systems and marketing automation tools.
• AI & Innovation in Content Creation:
o Lead initiatives to integrate AI/GenAI technologies into content creation and management workflows, such as automated asset tagging, AI-driven optimization of asset production, etc.
o Stay ahead of industry trends, exploring and piloting new AI tools that can improve efficiency in content creation and management.
• Reporting and Analytics:
o Build and maintain reporting and analytics dashboards that provide insights into asset creation velocity, usage and lifecycle.
o Use data driven insights to optimize workflows and identify areas for improvements and innovation.
• Quality and Performance:
o Define and uphold code quality standards; automate testing to drive consistency and reliability. Focus on application uptime, scalability, and performance optimizations.
• Observability:
o Implement robust monitoring for component health, availability, and performance. Partner with other squads to diagnose issues and proactively identify bottlenecks and areas of inefficiency.
