Cybersecurity Implementation & Management:
- Deploy, configure, and manage security tools, including Rapid7/Metasploit, CrowdStrike, and KnowBe4 to monitor, detect, and mitigate threats.
- Lead efforts to enhance the organization’s security framework by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing appropriate measures.
- Vendor Collaboration:
- Work closely with third-party vendors to evaluate, procure, and integrate security solutions into the existing IT infrastructure.
- Act as the primary point of contact for security-related vendor discussions, ensuring deliverables meet organizational requirements.
- Threat Analysis and Mitigation:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks and weaknesses.
- Develop and implement effective remediation strategies for identified security gaps.
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats using advanced tools and techniques.
- Security Awareness & Training:
- Utilize KnowBe4 to design and execute security awareness training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
- Promote a culture of security awareness across the organization.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards relevant to healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, such as HIPAA, HITECH, and FDA cybersecurity guidelines.
- Proactively address security risks while maintaining a balance between security and business operations.
- Collaboration and Leadership:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, compliance, and operations, to design and implement secure solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
