Design and implement data models supporting business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting needs.
Develop enterprise data architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Work closely with business teams to define logical and physical data models and ensure alignment with industry standards like ISO20022/BIAN.
Build and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and processing in Snowflake and other cloud data platforms.
Automate data integration workflows using Python and SQL.
Ensure efficient ETL/ELT processes that support business intelligence and reporting needs.
Implement and manage Data Catalog solutions (Alation preferred) to enhance data discovery, metadata management, and governance.
Define and maintain data lineage using tools like Manta, ensuring end-to-end visibility of data flows.
Establish data governance policies and best practices for data stewardship and data quality.
Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Utilize advanced Excel capabilities, including macros (VBA), data automation, and reporting functions.
Develop and maintain Excel-based analytical models and reporting solutions as needed.
Ensure efficient query performance tuning in Snowflake and relational databases.
Ensure data security, compliance, and governance as per enterprise and regulatory standards.
Align data architectures with financial industry standards like ISO20022/BIAN.
