  • Need enterprise level experience. Migration efforts of 30-35DBs at a time, for example
  • Large scale apps – thousands of users
  • High availability is essential – need someone well versed in Postgres reliability and availability
  • DR experience – goes hand in hand with the HA
  • Architecture important
    • Some new data bases for new projects this person will architect after the initial HA/DR and migration efforts
  • Candidates he’s seen don’t have large scale db migration
    • Partitioning as well
  • Large scale = 30-35DBs to be migrated
    • Data sync
