• Database Administration: Manage, maintain, and support SQL Server databases, including installations, configurations, upgrades, and patches.

• Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance, query tuning, and index management to ensure efficient performance.

• Backup & Recovery: Implement and maintain database backup strategies, and perform regular backups, restores, and recovery processes.

• High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Design, implement, and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions such as Always On Availability Groups, Log Shipping, and Replication.

• Security Management: Implement and maintain database security, including user permissions, encryption, and auditing.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues such as performance bottlenecks, deadlocks, and connectivity issues.

• Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks such as backups, indexing, and maintenance plans using T-SQL, PowerShell, or other automation tools.

• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to provide support for database design, stored procedures, triggers, and queries.

• Documentation: Maintain documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.

• Capacity Planning: Monitor database growth and plan for future resource needs, including storage, memory, and CPU requirements.
