Job Description Performs application development; in support of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV), Information Technology (IT). Conducts application development based on agency requirments and advises manager of status of release based on results of testing performed for a software release to be implemented into production. MUST HAVE 8        Required        Experience programming with Java/J2EE and web programming concepts 8        Required        Experience in software development 8        Required        Knowledge of Linux operating Systems, Apache Tomcat, webservices, DB2 database, writing and executing complex SQL queries 8        Required        Exercises logic and reasoning to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 8        Required        Effective oral and written communication 8        Required        Working in a team environment and ability to communicate and assist with training other team members. 6        Required        Experience guiding and recommending Application Architecture and Standardization 4        Required        Experience with JIRA and JAMA 4        Required        Working with Azure DevOps PREFERRED 8        Preferred        Experience performing code reviews. 5        Preferred        Experience with DB2 and SQL 1        Preferred        TxDMV experience is preferred but not mandatory
