The incumbent is responsible for leading cloud hosted SaaS projects and business change management that focus on leveraging modern technology to improve public safety and Virginia State Police (VSP) customer services statewide. Most projects have a high degree of complexity. In addition, the incumbent will:

•Perform project planning.

•Lead project teams.

•Create and manage project budgets.

•Manage project scope.

•Identify project risks and risk mitigation strategies.

•Lead requirements documentation.

•Manage relationships and coordinate with interface partners, suppliers and VSP technical staff.

•Lead business change management, with an emphasis on effective communications, building stakeholder trust and measuring performance.

•Coordinate changes to network infrastructures in partnership with technical staff.

•Coordinate the deployment of equipment used by SaaS applications.

•Prepare reports for VSP and VITA management.

•Perform other duties as assigned.
