4+ years of exp in Linux, Python, Raspberry Pis? Proficiency in Linux, programming, system-level testing and debugging tools.? Experience with cloud computing, specifically with the Azure cloud ecosystem (though this is just limited to the scope of getting data into a storage blob).? Technical proficiency with building, modifying, and adapting electrical circuitry and Raspberry Pi technologies.? Proven experience in managing and monitoring system infrastructure (hardware and software), with experience in troubleshooting, analysis, networks, and system designs.? Experience in leading system maintenance, improving operational efficiency, and managing future system upgrades.? Experience in documenting processes and monitoring system performance metrics.? Communication and customer service skills. This individual will need to be comfortable operating in a scientific research environment that contains animals.? Outstanding computer troubleshooting skills for obscure issues, ranging from device connectivity, network issues, and laboratory software issues? Background with End-user Computing or Desktop Support skills essential. ? Understanding of Networking concepts, such as network topography, VLANSs, Static/Dynamic IPs, Subnetting, IT/OT Networks, and basic understanding of firewalls. Candidate should be familiar with the OSI model and how to troubleshoot different network layers? Knowledge and understanding of Active Directory required? AGILE ways of working necessary? Background with computer security ? Previous experience with validated systems (GxP) a plus ? Willingness to provide after-hours support in case of emergencies or system failures.
