Data Governance & Unity Catalog Implementation 

• Configure and Manage Unity Catalog: Lead the configuration, and management of Unity Catalog within Databricks to ensure comprehensive data governance and unified metadata management. 

• Metadata Management: Maintain detailed metadata repositories, data dictionaries, and lineage documentation within Unity Catalog to support transparency and traceability. 

• Develop & Enforce Governance Frameworks: Design, document, and enforce data policies, standards, and procedures that ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the Databricks environment. 

• Data Stewardship: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data ownership, manage data quality, and oversee data lifecycle management using Unity Catalog. 

• Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and internal security policies by leveraging Databricks security features and Unity Catalog functionalities. 

Analytics Development 

• Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive dashboards directly within Databricks or using integrated tools (e.g., Power BI, Domo) to provide business insights. 

• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and translate them into robust, scalable analytics solutions. 

• Process Automation: Continuously improve and automate data processes and workflows in Databricks to optimize performance and scalability.
