JOB DETAIL

· SAP Basis technical subject matter expert (8+ Years of Experience) with proven experience of leading and managing for SAP systems administration

· Must have excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills and provide architectural guidance for implementation of fixes and corrective actions based on detailed RCA

· Develop and refine best practices for the Basis Administration group, leading team through continuous improvement.

· Knowledge of technical infrastructure and networking

· Experience performing installations, upgrades, system copies, data refreshes, DR, archiving

· Experience with ECC, R/3, HCM, CRM, EDI, HANA, BW, BOBJ, SCM and SRM, SAP NetWeaver, and SAP Solution Manager

· Able to Install and upgrade a diverse set of SAP Systems in a diverse UNIX/LINUX/AIX environment

· Exposure to OpenText Enterprise Information Management, DB Administration

· Capable of deriving a SAP roadmap for the IT Landscape and provide technical inputs on best practices and recommendations for IT Transformation and Digital Enablement, providing a vision for a future state architecture that leverages cloud technologies and platforms and provides for instant scalability when needed

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to communicate technically and coordinate with peers and leaders in the DB administration and UNIX

· Capable and experienced getting hands on detailed root cause analysis and problem solving, leading team for immediate resolution of business-critical issues.

· Transports and change control

· Work with Basis, Infrastructure and application teams (ECC, BI, APO, EDI, CRM, HCM) to provide basis support in the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP applications.

· Know-how on project management and change management best practices and tools

· Leadership skills with very strong customer focus and results oriented

Other aspects (not mandatory)

· Lead large Basis projects that require multiple resources to complete. This involves technical planning, resource planning, schedule management, execution management, and communication with leadership

· Ensure smooth, uninterrupted system operation, meeting SLAs - Proactively and consistently monitor performance of SAP systems and tune as necessary.
