1. Upgrading Oracle database from 12c to 19c version for Oracle EBS application 12.2.8
2. Troubleshooting and resolution of database and application issues encountered as part of the upgrade
3. Working with Oracle support to resolve issues and seek recommendation on best practises for upgrade
4. Extensive knowledge and experience in Oracle RAC, PCP and DMZ environments.
5. Collaborate with Application Functional testing and boundary application teams and work on issue resolution reported by teams
6. Develop upgrade runbook for database upgrade
7. Work towards reducing the upgrade downtime by streamlining and optimizing the upgrade process
8. Work with Infrastructure teams (Linux, storage teams) to plan and upgrade for infrastructure components e.g. OS, Grid upgrade
9. Environment planning for multiple upgrade test cycles
10. Working with Project Manager and others stakeholders to adhere to project timelines set for upgrade
11. Work on performance issues reported by testing teams, work on SQL tuning advisor, SQL profiling
12. Develop documents for system maintenance (Patching, cloning, service account password change)
13. Setup a Disaster recovery environment using Oracle dataguard and perform DR test
