The activities this candidate will be tasked with include, but are not limited to, the following: 

1. Support and expand FDOT infrastructure. 

2. Coordinate server configuration and administration with multiple parties (SDC, FDOT, and contractors). 

3. Make recommendations for future server and software upgrades. 

4. Monitor systems and applications to ensure security, availability, and performance. 5. Establish systems by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls. 

6. Maintains network and systems performance by performing systems monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting systems and application problems; escalating problems to vendor. 

7. Build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment. 

8. Find opportunities to refactor solutions to obtain better performance, cost, and efficiency. 

9. Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, git repositories, and pipelines. 

10. Oversee and configure Azure DevOps organizational settings. 11. Recommend and assist with the building and hosting of complex application solutions. 

12. Understand, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure and/or other cloud services. 

13. Understand, deploy, and manage Microsoft Power Platform. 

14. Understand and manage Microsoft 365 services. 

15. Supports other IT staff, including developers. 

16. Other duties as assigned.
