Are you a Windows Server Pro with Azure expertise? We’re looking for a System Administrator to support a large-scale data center environment for WMATA across DC, MD & VA!
 36-month contract with possible extension
 Must be local to DC/VA/MD & able to travel to DC, Hanover (MD), & Alexandria (VA)
What You’ll Do:
 Maintain Windows Server (2008R2, 2016), SQL Server (2014/2019), IIS, ColdFusion, & Node.js
 Manage 15+ production servers across multiple data centers 
 Perform monthly security patching using IBM BigFix 
 Maintain & troubleshoot Active/Passive Azure servers ️
 Travel locally to client sites as needed 
What You’ll Bring:
 5-10+ years of server maintenance & administration experience
 Strong expertise in Windows Server & Azure operations
 Familiarity with highly available, load-balanced environments
 Ability to troubleshoot & manage failovers
 Bonus Points For:
 Experience with Trapeze Trip Planning Engine (ATIS)
 Knowledge of VM-based environments
