JOB DETAIL

  • Database Migration Expertise: Experience migrating databases from Oracle, SQL Server and disparate hosting platforms with minimal downtime.
  • SQL Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SQL, including PL/SQL for Oracle and T-SQL for SQL Server.
  • ETL & Data Integration: Expertise in ETL tools ensuring efficient data transformation.
  • Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW): Deep understanding of data modeling, star schema, and fact/dimension tables.
  • Cloud Databases: Familiarity with cloud-based solutions like AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, and Google Cloud SQL.
  • Performance Optimization: Skilled in query tuning, indexing strategies, and troubleshooting database performance issues.
  • Data Security & Governance: Knowledge of data encryption, access control, and compliance with GDPR, HIPAA or similar control regulations.
  • Automation & Scripting: Ability to develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or shell scripting for database migration and maintenance.
  • OEM Tools: Expertise with Oracle and SQL Migration tools including and performance tuning.
