JOB DETAIL

Architecture – Design end-to-end data and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, ensuring alignment with Cooper’s business goals and technical requirements. Lead in establishing healthcare data foundations with information accuracy, usability, safeguarding, performance and optimal balance between business need and computation cost as the primary framework.
Implement Fabric workloads and features, such as Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Semantic Model, Data Factor, Data Flow, Notebooks, Data Activator, Reflex, Deployment Pipelines, Workspace, Apps, Power BI, etc.

Technical Leadership: Lead the technical delivery of data projects, guiding development teams in implementing solutions based on the designed architecture. Help establish standards and methodology to manage Medallion Data Lake architecture. Create and socialize workspace architecture, including secured access, data standard, file size and consumable standards to balance business need and operating cost.

Customer Engagement: Engage with various Cooper internal data consumers to gather requirements, provide expert advice, and recommend best practices for leveraging Microsoft Fabric in their data strategy.

Data Integration & Ingestion: Architect solutions that integrate data from multiple source systems into Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data quality, security, consistency, and accessibility.

Performance Optimization: Optimize data architectures for performance, scalability, and reliability; leveraging Microsoft Fabric’s capabilities.

Microsoft Purview: Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft Purview Catalog best practices, including domain definitions, access policies, user roles, data products and elements, as well as pro-active monitoring of catalog to ensure that data trust is established, and completeness and quality are maintained.

Documentation: Create detailed architectural documentation, including technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and implementation guides.

Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and mentorship to develop teams, ensuring successful adoption and utilization of Microsoft Fabric.

Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest advancements in Microsoft Fabric and related technologies, continuously enhancing your expertise and the solutions you deliver.

Advanced Analytics: Assist with design and implementation of cloud-based analytics solutions, including data warehousing, real-time analytics, and machine learning, using Microsoft Fabric and related

MS technologies: Azure services and features, such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, etc.
