Collaborate with business users to understand inventory management needs and pain points.
Analyze current inventory processes and identify areas for improvement through SAP configuration.
Define functional specifications for the SAP inventory system implementation.
Solution Design and Architecture:
Design the overall SAP inventory architecture including material master data structure, storage locations, movement types, and stock keeping units (SKUs).
Develop detailed blueprints for inventory processes like goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfer, and physical inventory.
Select appropriate SAP features and functionalities to meet business requirements (e.g., batch management, serial number tracking, demand forecasting).
Implementation and Configuration:
Configure SAP MM module for inventory management functions including master data creation, stock levels, and pricing.
Set up warehouse management processes within the SAP system (picking, packing, putaway, etc.)
Implement relevant SAP reports and dashboards to monitor inventory performance and identify potential issues.
