Senior Mainframe Developer Modern Technologies

Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, and other related technologies.

Integrate mainframe systems with modern technologies such as APIs, cloud platforms, and web services.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to mainframe applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business analysts.

Optimize mainframe application performance and scalability.

Implement and maintain security best practices for mainframe systems.

Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Stay up-to-date with the latest mainframe technologies and trends.

Contribute to the development of technical documentation and best practices.

Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.

Work with version control systems (e.g., Git) for code management.

Automate mainframe processes using scripting languages and tools.

Support the migration of mainframe applications to modern platforms.
