· Responsible for understanding project scope and working with the Business Analyst to ensure
adherence to the objectives set for the project.
· Responsible for adhering to the project schedule by developing test cases and completing
Quatlity Assurance Testing (QAT) in accordance with the schedule.
· Responsible for working with User Acceptance Test (UAT) testers and conducting UAT
training sessions along with Business and Product Owners.
· Responsible for appropriate resolution of critical IT issues as it pertains to the QA role.
· Ensures all QA responsible SEM documents identified for the project are completed, reviewed,
and approved in alignment with area processes.
· Participates in the requirement meetings and functional design document review meetings to
understand the requirements.
· Works closely with Business Analyst and Business/Product Owner to clarify requirements.
· Prepares test data and ensures the QA environment is ready for test case execution, including
interfaces.
· Responsible for defect management including identification of QAT defects and remediation
tracking by maintaining the traceability to user story.
· Responsible for working with the Product Owner to set defect severity and assist with backlog
prioritization throughout the project.
· Responsible for facilitating defect triage meetings as necessary.
· Works directly with Tech Leads and Developers to ensure understanding of defects are clear
and understood.
· Works with UI/UX Designer to assist with adding defects and providing input for usability, as
necessary.
· Works closely with QA Specialist on complex projects and on unique deliverables for the
projects.
