Statistics & Mathematics: probability, linear algebra, and optimization—core to understanding and debugging ML models.

Machine Learning: classical ML algorithms, including decision trees, ensemble methods (Random Forest, XGBoost, LightGBM), and model evaluation techniques.

Deep Learning (only need high-Level understanding): Familiar with key DL architectures—sequence models (RNNs, LSTMs) and transformer-based models; understand how attention mechanisms and positional encoding work conceptually.

Software Engineering: Solid software development background with some experience in system design; able to contribute to production-grade ML systems with scalability and maintainability in mind.

Tools & Frameworks

Data Analysis: pandas, NumPy

Modeling & ML: scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, bert, transformer, etc.

Deep Learning: PyTorch (hands-on exposure)

Dev & Infra: Git, Docker (optional to list if relevant), basic cloud experience (e.g., AWS, GCP) if applicable

Languages: Python (primary) — clean, modular coding style, experienced in both prototyping and production deployment
